Kenya - Pure SL28

This species of coffee, SL28, was one of the first intentionally bred types of coffee plant. Created in the 1930's by Scott Laboratories, it makes a delicious cup. In our opinion it's a bit of a time machine, taking us back to an earlier world of flavor philosophy.

Just north of Nairobi sits Murang'a County and Mawiko Farm, a lush green region with bright red soil from ancient volcanic activity. Elizabeth Waithera and her family have been stewards of this land for generations, carefully protecting the ecosystem and their coffee plants.

Kenya is one of our favorite regions for coffee and this release will help you understand why.
